About Me

Hey there! I’m Jarrod, but most folks know me as Nod. I’m a tech enthusiast located in Australia with over ten years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a dedicated cybersecurity professional. My passion for cybersecurity stems from my curiosity and a strong desire to protect our digital world.

My Cybersecurity Journey

After a decade in telecommunications, where I built a solid foundation in networking, IT support, and troubleshooting, I made the leap into cybersecurity.

In December 2024, I proudly graduated with distinction with a Diploma of Cybersecurity (GPA: 6.5). Now, I’m actively expanding my knowledge and skillset through hands-on learning and certifications.

I dedicate my time to learning offensive and defensive security techniques, exploring SOC operations, and working on practical cybersecurity projects.

Career Goals

I’m actively looking for an IT or cybersecurity role where I can apply my skills and continue growing.

💼 Ideal roles:

  • Security Analyst / SOC Analyst (preferred)
  • Helpdesk / IT Support

I’m passionate about threat detection, incident response, and network security, and I’m excited to take the next step in my cybersecurity career.
